National
Black Business Trade Association Aligns The First Social
Network Member Unique Tour “For Us By Us”
The
Black Business Space Value Tour,
a program of the National Black Business Trade Association,
is a growing grassroots social media phenomena. It announced
a slate of featured artists and kicked-off its Adopt-An
Artist campaign at an online press conference, Wednesday.
January 7, 2009 at 12:00pm EST.
As
music has changed over the years and the industry
is in flux, BBS Value Tour will have a commitment based
campaign, that will empower everyday people to help support
the artist whose work will reflect the true lives and
values of everyday people.
The
tour’s slate of artists is comprised of visual
artists, dancers, actors, spoken word, musicians, comedians
and vocalists who reflect the genres of gospel, urban
inspiration, hip hop, R&B, neo-soul, and rock.
This
is a vision of Jacqueline Taylor-Adams
who has been surrounded by phenomenal artistry
of visual and performance artists. “I’m so glad to work
with artists that will empower the community in a positive
way, not just on stage, but in everyday life.
Our
youth today are very impressionable and life imitates
art, and I believe that they deserve good quality entertainment,
just like when I was growing up. Today, people enjoy music
and entertainment that reflect who they are, and what
they are going through.”
Jacqueline
Taylor-Adams is a marketing professional. Her
mission is to bring circulation to music and art that
reflect a higher quality message.
The
BBS Value Tour social network community’s resources will
help increase the fan base, awareness, performance, showcase
and sales opportunities for independent visual and performance
art members.
The
tour is launched from the National Black Black
Business Trade Association's [NBBTA] Black Business Space,
a business social network with over 5,500 members. The
BBS Value Tour's online community whose membership practices
dual citizenship, expands BBS' business networking to
family style communal networking using the formula Artist
+ Business + commUNITY= Family.
The
Black Business Space Value Tour, strategically
acknowledges artists as a central force within our communities
as the storytellers of our history and culture.
BBSVT
launches a viral online and offline campaign,
asking people to support it’s featured artist via adoption
beginning January 15, 2009. For booking and more information,
