EMI Gospels' newest artist, Jason Champion, debuts with "Reflections." Jason is a discovery of the late Gerald Levert and his rise to fame began in the '90s as a member of the R&B duo Men at Large.
Champion traded in his R&B for Gospel. However, while it's true he is now singing praises to the Lord, hecertainly hasn't left his R&B flavor. Jason, with the help of mainstream and Gospel producer Warryn Campbell, delivers a soulful body of work on this album.
The single, "Always," has a feel of the "days of disco" and you can hear a Stevie Wonder influence on "Friend of Mine." Champion's wife's vocals can be heard on, "For Better or For Worse."
"Reflections," is a reflection of Champions' heart.
"It is my hope and heart to be impactful, helpful, and most of all effective," says Jason. (Source: GospelMusicChannel.com)
