After 37 years of unforgettable moments, it's been reported Don Cornelius has sold his legendary Soul Train franchise to the owners of MadVision, who may put the show back in production (MV is also responsible for Bad Boy Films, Ebony and Jet magazine). Cornelius told the Hollywood Reporter: "The 'Soul Train' legacy and brand are of the utmost importance to me and millions of fans. I feel the time is right to pass the torch. The MadVision team understands and respects my vision." CLAP BACK: Young Buck didn't waste any time responding to 50 Cent after a taped phone conversation was leaked to the internet. In the scathing diss record "Taped Phone Conversation", Buck pulls his boss' card for taping the call and labels him a ho. According to Buck, G-Unit lost the remainder of their swagger in the aftermath of his removal from the crew. But for someone reason, we're expecting a Buck diss record to hit the streets before the break of dawn. POLITRICKS: We love a good update! Last week we reported that $85 mil in supplies for Hurricane Katrina victims had been given to other states and agencies because FEMA didn't know there was still a need in Louisiana. CNN now reports that a portion will be sent back and given to nonprofits; of course, FEMA still insists Louisiana turned the goods down in the first place - whatever.
